According to a Tuesday announcement, Donald Trump Is Now Selling BIBLES!
Trump announced a collaboration with country music musician Lee Greenwood, well known for his song “God Bless the USA”. The duo is selling a personalized version of the Bible for $59.99, dubbed the “God Bless the USA Bible,” which Greenwood had originally launched in 2021 but then dropped due to publishing issues.
“Every American home should have a Bible, and I have several. “It’s my all-time favorite book,” Trump declared in a social media video. “It’s a lot of peoples’ favorite book.”
“We have to bring Christianity back into our lives and into what will be again a great nation,” Trump stated. “By constructing America according to Judeo-Christian principles, our Founding Fathers accomplished a great deal. Perhaps more than in the past, that basis is currently under attack.”
The declaration is made at a time when Trump is allegedly short on funds due to his involvement in multiple legal disputes. A New York state appeals court decision on Monday imposed an extra $175 million bond while he appeals a civil fraud verdict against him. He had previously posted a $91 million bond while contesting a jury award in a defamation lawsuit. If he loses the appeal, he will owe an additional $354 million plus interest.
A disclaimer on the controversial Bible’s website states that it “has nothing to do with any political campaign” and is “not owned, managed or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Ventures LLC or any of their respective principals or affiliates.” Trump has denied having financial difficulties.
What precisely is this self-proclaimed patriotic interpretation of the Bible, and how does it relate to an 80s country song? This is what we know.
Donald Trump Is Now Selling BIBLES!
The “God Bless the USA Bible” is a Christian Bible “inspired by Lee Greenwood’s patriotic anthem ‘God Bless the USA,'” according to the official God Bless The USA Bible website.
It claims to be the “only Bible endorsed by President Trump” and Greenwood himself, and includes copies of American governmental papers as well as Greenwood’s song lyrics.
Other conservative figures, such as Tomi Lahren, Donald Trump Jr., Rita Cosby, Travis Tritt, and Gov. Mike Huckabee, are seen in a “spotlight” area on the website holding copies of the Bible.
According to the website, “high order volume” indicates that clients would have to wait four to six weeks for delivery

God Bless the USA Bible’ controversies, response
Constitutional and legal academics, as well as members of the Christian church, have rejected the idea of a Bible that combines religion and legal theory. When the proposal was first announced, it drew significant criticism.
Following a tentative agreement, HarperCollins Christian Publishing refused to manufacture the book in 2021, prompting Greenwood and Hugh Kirkpatrick, who led the business Elite Service Pro behind the personalized Bible, to seek other publishing options.
HarperCollins Christian Publishing, which encompasses the Zondervan and Thomas Nelson publishing houses, is the North American licensor for the New International Version of the Bible, which was not utilized in the “God Bless the USA” edition. Instead, it employs the King James Version translation.
